[M.M.X.I.V. 333] Camera and credit card

The title of this post is based off the time that my family went on a cruise in January 2001. During the early going, one of the talks was about timing. The quote sticks with me.

If you want to push your limit ashore, be sure to bring a camera and a credit card. Use the camera to take a picture of the [Carnival] Fascination leaving without you. Use the credit card to get your butt to the next port of call.

The quote is funny in retrospect, since my family ensured that the excursions would not leave us out too late.

But the last few L trips, I have gotten to use the camera. The good news is that another train will arrive soon, and that this was a hedge.

The problem: the train left a minute ahead of its timetable. Solution from here on out: get there ahead of scheduled departure!

Today is the three hundred and thirty third day of M.M.X.I.V. That makes forty seven weeks and four days.
