[M.A.P.L.E. VI-22] Riding Interstate 37

Interstate 37 is a highway in Texas, so clearly that’s not what I’m referring to by the title of this post… given that I’ve never been to Texas

However, it is true that I rode interstate on my bike today.

It’s not quite as exciting (or dangerous) as riding ON the Interstate, but is fun to say that I went down to Illinois. (Though, I will say that it is legal to ride your bike on stretches of the Interstate in Colorado.)

Here are a few pictures, with the latter mentioning US Bike Route 37, or as I’ll call it, Interstate 37. (The interchange is at 21st Street in Zion. But there are no exit numbers on exits on Bike Routes… too bad!)

A photo that is nearly 6 years overdue. I should have taken this picture during the Wrigley Field Road Tour in 2011!

Winthrop Harbor, Illinois.

Interchange of 21st Street in Zion and USBR 37.
