Ah, it’s back to normal writing after a week of wordless posts. There wasn’t that much of a cacophony of activity on my blog… at least with respect to my invitations for comments.
Nevertheless, the last week HAS been a cacophony on other respects.
And the cacophony is a result of an avalanche that was self-inflicted.
I had two major projects due in my classes last week, as well as two regular homework assignments. Because I had a lot of prep to do, some of which involved my least favorite type of prep—graphs and images, the Frownie Folders were screaming in cacophony.
I managed to get all my prep done, which normally took top billing over grading.
Half of the projects have been quieted, but tomorrow the cacophony continues as I receive calculus contests. Wednesday will have wrought a duo of differential equations demonstrations…
…but at least a “scoundrel” who will siphon half of my Friday differential equations class will lessen my prep by one lesson this week.
Today is the twenty-third day of the sixth round of O.C.T.O.B.E.R. That makes three weeks and two days.
Green Bay/St. Norbert: 11 days
Minneapolis: 18 days
