Noah Weiss. Applied mathematician by trade, and writer and blogger by hobby, and known to the Internet as Noah121 or Noah121Weiss on many Internet forums. Does this make me a nerd? If so, I take it in full stride!
This blog was inspired on July 28, 2011, when I was on a Birthright Israel trip. Our bus had a blog that we were supposed to update daily, but only a few posts came out of it. I had been journaling in a composition book the whole trip in full paragraphs, and decided to share it with the world. Thus, noah121weiss.wordpress.com came into existence on July 31, the day that I returned to America, and my first twelve posts are the full journals of my Israel experience.
Since then, my blog has touched on almost anything. With my intense interests in math and physics and music, and sometimes my awkwardness in social behavior, you would be correct if you assume that I am an Aspie. I occasionally touch on this subject through my own experiences and through responses to what I have read and heard.
From music and math to Judaism and responses to newspaper articles, my blog has no particular focus, because I have a wide variety of interests, and want to portray that in my writing. In some sense, every post is a slice of my life. Diversity of writing and topics keep the blog interesting!
My posts will be spontaneously inserted, whenever I feel there’s something worth logging. However, in 2014, I will be posting something every day, under the challenge M.M.X.I.V.
Please follow along with my unique self-expression–I hope you enjoy it!
In my school days the classes used to be mentioned in roman numbers. Your blog just reminded me of those days.

Thanks for reading! Indeed, sometimes it is more interesting (maybe even formal?) to use Roman numerals instead of Arabic numerals.

Reading your blog, I thought “I like this guy.” Then you wrote “I’m an Aspie,” and I thought “well no WONDER I like this guy!”
Well done, man. And best of continuing success with your M.M.X.I.V. challenge!

Thank you very much! It seems that expressive Aspies are people-attractors, maybe!

And if so, isn’t THAT interesting? People who are not “people persons” find each other interesting… You might have an entire book’s worth of idea there, Noah!
