[M.A.P.L.E. VI-31] Riding into the sunset

At the end of some shows, character(s) advect (move) toward a sunset as the scene fades out or irises to the credits. It’s a common idea, and often signifies the end or predicts a new beginning.

Last year, the T-shirts for the Midwest Regional Pokemon tournament showed Eevee and its Evolutions walking off into the sunset, for what was ostensibly the final Midwest Regional tournament.  However, it returned this year, but unfortunately I can’t go to it since it’s this coming weekend, and I’m going to Israel!

[O.C.T.O.B.E.R. V-1] A posting agenda

Once again, the calendar has shifted to October, and thus I must pause this post to go wake up the member(s) of Green Day.

[M.A.P.L.E. IV-1] Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!

Welcome to the fourth year of M.A.P.L.E. (May Acquires Posts Logged Everyday)! In Year 3 of this challenge, each of my posts was based on a song that I had heard that day. The first two years had no particular theme, and I’d like to return to the No-Theme-M.A.P.L.E.

So, the first day of May is also called May Day, and that word as two words implies a celebration.  As one word, it’s a distress call, frequently in the air or at sea.  So, I’m going to start the fourth round of M.A.P.L.E. with songs of trouble at sea and celebration on the ground.
