[O.C.T.O.B.E.R. XII-25] Stream…

…Of consciousness. Tonight’s post will be a sequence of lyrics of songs, based on one water based seed. I’ll give myself twelve minutes, which may involve looking up lyrics. Let’s see how this set of connections goes.

There is water… at the BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN! I’d probably break through if it didn’t scare me half to death. Break on through to the other side. It will fill you with emotion if you let it be your guide. I get so emotional baby every time I think of you!

Time time time… see what’s become of me. Who do you need, who do you love, when you’ve come undone? You’re the best thing I never knew I needed: so when you were here, I had no idear.

I see a ship in the harbour. And the harbour lights won’t be turned on tonight. Tonight, tonight, tonight (Kee-ker-kee…) He tries to dial out 999999999. Ninety-nine red balloons go by. You can go your own way…

[M.A.P.L.E. XI-7] Fret

I was somewhat writers-blocked today, so went to The Daily Post and somewhat arbitrarily chose a prompt. The prompt was “fret.”

Normally, if people think of “fret,” they probably think of “worry.” Indeed, that is usually what I think of, but what else is it?

It’s a part of a guitar! I remember that from my sixth-grade music class, although I think we didn’t play guitars, but instead dulcimers or similar instruments.

[M.A.P.L.E. XI-3] Music T-shirt and waking up

Yesterday, I saw a meme that was shared from one of my friends from elementary school. Said meme is below (and even has alt-text for accessibility!) It doesn’t seem like it is terribly intrusive, unlike some of the other “sharing” memes, as there’s no obvious breach of passwords. Perhaps there’s a little bit of privacy loss since my responses may tell something about my tastes of music.

Black background with white text, and two smiley emoji at the bottom.

Text:
Slept in my Eagles T-shirt and woke up in Hotel California...

Slept in my Led Zeppelin T-shirt and woke up Dazed and Confused...

keep it going!

Revisited

There are a few different ideas behind the title of this post.

The most obvious one is that the blog is being revisited for the first time in more than a month!

The countdown to the wedding in my last blog post was 16 days, and of course that meant everything got busy. Hopefully with the wedding over, I can get back to some sort of blogging routine!
