When I first got into the graduate and professional world, I usually just used a single computer monitor to do my work. In my office, the monitor at my station would be used in lieu of, rather than in addition to, my laptop monitor.

The last twenty-four hours have been full of technical difficulties for Samantha and me!

Yesterday, our Echo Show was working in terms of the screen showing things and the timer making noise, but the computerized voice was not answering (e.g. if you said, “Amazon, set a timer for 15 minutes,” although it would start the timer, it wouldn’t vocalize, “15 minutes, starting now.”
